I would like the ability to allow sysops to delete articles but not images. There is the potential of a
sysop going rogue and deleting all my images which I can't get back.
Comment 1 Brion Vibber 2006-09-25 23:16:27 UTC
If you're worried about this, set up the image deletion archive so that your images can be undeleted.

Marking WORKSFORME since this issue can be solved in the more direct and wiki-friendly way.

How do I do that? I thought that wasn't available until version 1.8 comes out.

Search for "wgSaveDeletedFiles" in incudes/DefaultSettings.php.
