Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Jason Spiro 2006-09-18 14:45:30 UTC
WikiProject Stub Sorting ([[WP:PSS]]) takes a fair bit of effort. Perhaps it
would save time for all if, when I go to a category page, there was a little
button "View stubs only" which would show only pages shorter than the Stub
Threshold set in my preferences.

Then, IMO, there would be no need for stub sorting. You could just browse by
category and find the page you need.

Using the internal definition of stub (character length), you can set links to
stubs to display differently for you from other links, on category pages and
elsewhere. Go to [[Special:Preferences]] -> Misc and set your length to
whatever number you like. This will accomplish roughly the same thing, although
only for one user.

Can and should be done with a gadget. While useful for some users, this feature is too narrow to be done in MW/extensions.
