Parser.php: There should be a __NOCATEGORIES__ just like __NOTOC__, to
inhibit adding the category list at the end of a page.

don't you mean "do not add gallery"?

By the way, index.php?title=Special:Categories&article=Bla is the same
as index.php?title=Special:Categories, so why add such an argument to
that link at the bottom of each page?

Also there should be a way to inhibit always giving the user a edit
box for categories that have members, but no text.
For now one must use [{{fullurl:Category:Bla}} Category:Bla]
