There have been 3 seperate discussions for the future of 9/11 wiki. http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Sep11wiki/Request_for_deletion http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/9/11_wiki_move_proposal http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Proposals_for_closing_projects#Closure_of_September_11_Wiki Overwhelmingly the agreement is to "close" the project. I guess no one has get around doing it.
Please be specific about what is requested.
9/11 wiki had had 3 seperate discussions so far which concluded with a closure. Many comments indicate that this was long overdue. First discussion concluded with a "Close project" as of January 2006 Second discussion concluded with a "move to MemoryWiki.org" roughly the same time as the first discussion. Third discussion concluded with a "Closure of September 11 Wiki" (102 support - 6 oppose votes) Over the course of time most of Sep/11th wikis content had been moved to MemoryWiki.org. So in the light of everything, I request the closure of sep11th wiki.
What does "closure" mean specifically here?
A suggestion, how about closing this sep 11th 2006 (aka tomorow)? :) Hmm... I guess all pages can be deleted all together...
It's highly unlikely the pages will be deleted unless there is a legal problem.
How about making it readonly for now? (like nostalgia wiki).
I've locked the site from editing.
