Description Ed Robbins 2006-09-07 18:48:55 UTC
After installing mediawiki in house several weeks ago, I noticed this afternoon
that thumbnails were not working. This is on a Linux box running FC5. I
installed ImageMagik and the dependencies needed to install ImageMagik. After
doing so, uploading images now sets the mime type to text/plain and the
dimensions to 0x0. Thus the link to the image does not work correctly. After
this occurence, I updated my LocalSettings.php to not use ImageMagik and removed
the rpm's that I had installed, the problem persists after these last steps.

Have the same issue, MediaWiki: 1.7.1 PHP: 5.1.2 (apache2handler) MySQL: 5.0.22-log, some (not all!) gif
files are recognized as text plain (Icon_lock1_blue.gif‎ (1KB, MIME type: text/plain) ) so the image link
shows the file name.

Is this an issue in 1.13? Works for me.
Comment 3 Chad H. 2009-09-22 19:44:18 UTC
Can't replicate in 1.16 trunk either, going ahead and closing WFM.
