Description Amir E. Aharoni 2014-10-28 07:34:43 UTC
The strings for the about screen are not translatable.

These are strings such as
"About the Wikipedia app"
"contributors"
"translators"
"This app was translated by the volunteer translators at http://translatewiki.net"
"libraries used"
"Send app feedback"
"A product of the Wikimedia Foundation"

The app name "Wikipedia", which appears at the top, needs to be translated as well.

I see all these in English in 4.0.4.0 beta #6, even though my iPod Touch's locale is Hebrew.

(That said, thanks a lot for adding a credits page!)

Monte says that these should be translatable. They're new strings, so they just haven't been translated yet, thus they're defaulting to English.

Due to the above, I'm closing this as WORKSFORME. Let me know if you disagree or if I've misunderstood.

Actually, I'd call this FIXED :)

It was not in translatewiki when I opened the bug, and I couldn't even find them in the source code in the latest Gerrit version. Now they are there in both places, so everything is fine.

I guess that the beta for TestFlight was built from a version that was newer than what was in Gerrit.
