I'm not sure what the problem is, since the changes to Cite.php since then <r1=15223&r2=15980">http://svn.wikimedia.org/viewvc/mediawiki/trunk/extensions/Cite/Cite.php?r1=15223&r2=15980> seem to properly check whether the right method exists so as not to break anything. Are extensions on the trunk supposed to be compatible with the latest tarballs, and if not, shouldn't they be branched?
