I don't know when this has happened, but apparently [[Special:Undelete]] specialpage doesn't do anything anymore. The contents now are "See the deletion log for recently deleted pages." which is next to useless. I recommend nuking the whole special page from the software. I presume its functionality has been removed since, I suppose, no one used this (it's decidedly easier and more intuitive to undelete a page by going to in and clicking links there).
That's one hell of an assumption, and it's wrong. Very, very wrong.
There is a way to get it to stop showing on the Special pages list, just like I got CheckUser to show on mine. However Special:Undelete uses a target, as in the page being deleted/restored, it does not work without a target. Deleting the whole page would just kill all deletion ability. You may want to examine the trunk, and learn some PHP, before calling this tool "useless".
Just for the record, I was referring to the page Special:Undelete, without any parameters. I know well that this is a useful tool but what I find useless is the text that is being displayed when no parameter is supplied. Also, it'd remove it from Specialpages list, as well. What would be the perfect solution is the following: display an error that the page needs to take a parameter, just like Special:Contributions does.
(In reply to comment #3) Special:Undelete is not crippled in this manner for smaller wikis. Consider the performance implication of listing each page that was ever deleted for the English Wikipedia; that alone should explain why it appears "useless" on Wikimedia sites.
At least change the message where applicable.
