Description jkds 2004-10-14 14:10:47 UTC
expected result:
you should see the "in other languages" box, with a list of languages, this
article is available in. eg: German [http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klosterneuburg]

wrong behaviour:
there is no "in other languages" box, although the article, which is not found
in the current language, is available in another languages.

This is no software problem. It's simply a policy on wikipedia not to create
empty articles which contain only interlanguage links: "If you find blank
interlanguage links on the English Wikipedia, they may be deleted as having no
content. It is strongly recommended that you create at least a stub page before
adding interlanguage links to it." For more see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Interlanguage_links

I think what was meant was that MediaWiki should search for
articles with the same title in other languages. Since this would
require a separate SQL query for each language it would probably
put too much load on the server.

Changing all WONTFIX high priority bugs to lowest priority (no mail should be generated since I turned it off for this.)
