The Wikisources utilise "work/subpage" nomenclature for the display of many works. When working with biographical dictionaries, encyclopaedias, poetry, lectures, etc. where the subpage components can be considered specific works in their own right there is a significant issue in the category display of works. For instance in the work "The Dictionary of Australasian Biography" the subpages would display in a category in the form of {{PAGENAME}}, eg. The Dictionary of Australasian Biography/Parker, Sir Henry Watson The Dictionary of Australasian Biography/Parker, Stephen Henry The Dictionary of Australasian Biography/Parkes, Edmund Samuel The Dictionary of Australasian Biography/Parkes, Hon. Sir Henry where what is required is that they display in the form {{SUBPAGENAME}}, eg. Parker, Sir Henry Watson Parker, Stephen Henry Parkes, Edmund Samuel Parkes, Hon. Sir Henry without the {{BASEPAGENAME}} What would be useful is the means to set a specific marker in a category that makes the display of that category to utilise {{SUBPAGENAME}} The sole ability to categorise based only on {{PAGENAME}} significantly effects the usefulness of categorisation of these compendium works. Imagine the 1911 Encyclopaedia articles on plants that all start with the name of the work and your eyes need to search down the title to find the relevant component of the article itself. Horrid. Thanks for any suggestions and means to resolve this matter.
