Description Stanislav Maslovski 2006-08-10 08:53:08 UTC
In my small anime related wiki I had a page named ".hack//Sign" (without the quotes). Such a
title was accepted and links to it worked nicely in 1.5.0 version of mediawiki combined
together with PHP 4.x. After I have updated the wiki software to 1.7.1 and PHP to 5.1.4 the
links to this page do not work anymore. When I click on them I always get to (an empty) page
titled ".hack/Sign". The same thing happen if I try to enter a page named ".hack///Sign" or
".hack////Sign" and so on. Setting a redirect to the old page solves the problem, however.

Double-slashes aren't valid in page titles now. Run
maintenance/cleanupTitles.php to rename broken pages to something valid.
