Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Morten Blaabjerg 2006-07-26 10:09:41 UTC
When a template is used for category insertion, and used with a variable for the category
sort key, (such as sortkey, with template text being
) - the template messes up the sort key of the category, listing
pages below "{" instead of the beginning letters. This occurs both with using ordinary
text as sortkey, as well as variables such as PAGENAME.

Confirmed in 1.7.1

of course.
Comment 3 Aryeh Gregor (not reading bugmail, please e-mail directly) 2006-07-26 18:11:23 UTC
Confirmed on test-wiki: Note
that category display on the page itself is also buggy, see Test:6821 (if
that works).

This seems to be working fine, now. See
Probably has been fixed by someone in the meantime.
