I'd like to have a new category in Bugzilla for Mathoid. Similiar to Parsoid the Mathoid uses nodejs to create a webservice that provides a restful json interface. The input is a texvc string and the output is MathML + SVG wrapped in a json string. Further details are availible from here http://arxiv.org/pdf/1404.6179.pdf Please add Gabriel Wicke to the default CC list. The codebase for Mathoid is availible here https://git.wikimedia.org/log/mediawiki%2Fservices%2Fmathoid/refs%2Fheads%2Fmaster Mahoid is strongly related the Math extension. Thus no dedicated project page exists at the moment.
So this sounds like a separate "product" on the top level in Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/describecomponents.cgi as it's not an extension which would be a component under https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/describecomponents.cgi?product=MediaWiki%20extensions Please see the questions listed on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Bug_management/Project_Maintainers#To_add_a_project_or_component - default CC list (as we set Nobody as default assignee), short project description, some homepage link, potentially wanted subcomponents for that project, etc.
Thanks. Attached the answers. Q:A description of your project, ideally including a link to the wikipage/webpage. A:product Who should be in the default CC field to receive bugmail on all bug report changes for that project. (Note: You can edit your bugmail preferences here.) gwicke, physikerwelt Q:Only in case of a product: Which subcomponents are needed (if none are needed, a 'General' component will be created). A:none Q:Mention if you want voting for reports by Bugzilla users enabled. Note that this only makes sense if you consider these votes as an influence on your decisions, and that the general availability of voting in Bugzilla might become subject of future discussion. A:no
