Description apsdehal 2014-07-16 06:48:53 UTC
Steps to reproduce:

Create a bug under wrong Product, try to edit and change the Product. Product's component don't load in up in the component section.

Note: It asks for correcting component on save changes but its kind of awkward, should be done in real time itself.

That's not a software bug but the behavior that has always been.
It's just that expectations changed over time - Bugzilla was written in the 90es before somebody invented AJAX. :P

The next dialog does let you choose components. And if you want a list of components of other products, click "Components".

We will not investigate any time in fixing this in Wikimedia so this is a WONTFIX for me. Fix should happen upstream, see
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=227611
