It would be a great advantage if {{subst:}} (or even the including functionality in general) was able to include passages of other articles identified by their sections. Self-Explaining Example: {{subst:Article#section}} A more detailed Example: <Page A> =C= ccc =D= ddd </Page A> <Page B> {{subst:Page_A#C}} </Page B> so Page B will be: "ccc" I'm going to focus another bug which will depend on that one here that also targets another important issue for which this here is important too, so please wait a minute with closing it ;-D
I submitted the other bug, see Bug #6786 - it's about automatic version-history updating when including pages via subst - read the bug-explanation and it's comments for further details and for why this is imporant.
I'm sorry my example in my firtst post was wrong... page B would of course be <page>=D= ccc</page> But that leads me to a new idea. I made this mist cause i just thought of including the content of the section, not the real section with heading. maybe another keyword jet? something like {{copy:}} or so. Please see also Bug #6787 .
