I'm not sure if this is changeable/fixable on our side.

A friend told me they got the attached message when attempting to donate via Amazon Payments. It asks them to change their password.

They said they are not prompted to change their Amazon password when using Amazon normally (e.g. logging into the Amazon "My Account" feature). It might be worth checking with Amazon whether this inconsistency is intentional, because it probably has an impact on completion rates.

Thanks for letting us know about this Matt. I tried an Amazon donation this morning and didn't have to change my password, and our donor services team tells me they haven't seen any previous reports of this issue.

It seems like it must be a one-off issue with your friend's Amazon account, and they should contact Amazon directly if it's a problem. There's not much we can do from our end.
