Description Danny B. 2006-07-15 13:06:22 UTC
First-level ul elements (headlines of each section) in MediaWiki:Sidebar are
converted to lowercase.

This is problem especially in cases when the headline should be proper name,
such as Wikipedia or any other project.

Items should be rendered as written in source code.

Solution:

In
  /skins-1.5/monobook/main.css

remove
  text-transform: lowercase;
from
  .portlet h5
Comment 2 Brion Vibber 2006-07-16 21:58:42 UTC
That's a matter of your style sheet, yes.
Comment 3 Danny B. 2006-07-16 23:25:08 UTC
There's no need to have it in **global stylesheet which can't be edited by
anybody**.

There's absolutely no reason for that line in that inaccessible stylesheet.

Default MW installation _should not_ contain that property assignement.

Please, remove it.

Thank you.
Comment 4 Brion Vibber 2006-07-16 23:28:16 UTC
You can change the stylesheet because it's your site. If
you're in a position to edit MediaWiki:Sidebar you can also
edit MediaWiki:Monobook.css.

Resolving INVALID.
