Like the summary already says, I miss the small 'enlarge' icon in the <gallery>. If you show an image as a thumbnail there is this icon, but if you make a gallery it isn't visible. Please add this icon to the gallery or hide it in the 'thumb'-view. Thanks
There isn't one, so you can't miss it.
I know that there isn't one. That was my point... Why isn't in the gallery an enlarge-icon? I hope you now know what I mean. Sorry if I wasn't accurate enough.
1. You can do the exact same thing by clicking on the image 2. Adding an enlarge icon wasn't in the original design for galleries; it would clutter them up
Thanks for the answer. 1. Yes, I know. 2. Okay, that's comprehensible. But why we have the 'enlarge' icon in the thumb-view? That's not consistent, I think. If we haven't this icon in the galleries, we also shouldn't have it in the thumb-view. Greetings
And what about the opposite: Hide the 'useless' enlarge image in the thumb view. It thakes unnecessarily space... Would also be more consistent I think.
Maybe a link makes sense: http://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Benutzer:Baumanns/test&oldid=19296389
I believe the logic is that an enlarge button is somewhat useful, and a single unobtrusive enlarge button for a thumbnail that's probably captioned anyway is therefore good, but it would look ugly if you had a ton of them in a gallery.
