Typically, an RC feed message looks like: <rc> [[User:Alastor Moody/Susie Derkins]] http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Alastor_Moody/Susie_Derkins&diff=57629220&oldid=57627878 * Alastor Moody * (+773) /* Characteristics */ (added the subtitle, "Relatioships With Other Characters In the Strip") For anti-vandal bots it would be really good if there would be a reference value for text length, because they don't need to make HTTP requests just to find out how long the page is now. Greets, Marco
1. Too ambiguous. Size of page before or after the change? 2. Each change to the feed breaks all existing uses, which must be recoded to work with the new format 3. Each change also increases the length of the lines, causing truncation of the edit summaries
Well, why don't just put new page length out as a new line? This wouldn't make the regexp's to be recoded. ~~~~
Meh, seems like clutter to me.
