Description chang Yuan 2006-06-04 12:56:09 UTC
In zh-wikipedia, We have simple Chinese and
traditional Chinese converted with each other.
When a article were added to a category, it would
automatically link to and included in a
category, even if the category name used are in
different kind of words.

But from about Jaunary this year, things changed. If
we use different kinds of words for category name
in an article, the article will link to category,
but won't included in the category.

We found that after any edit of the article, the bug
will recover, but after refresh of data the problem
appear again.

This is an example. The article 前550年(500 BC)
links to the category:前6世纪(6th century BC in
simplified Chinese),but in the category,the
article dissappear(because in the article use
[[category:前六世紀]]in traditional Chinese)

This problem made the categories for zh.wikipedia
very unreliable. We hope it can be solved. Thank you
very much.
