Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Mark Bergsma 2006-05-24 15:02:13 UTC
Purging of full size images (not thumbs) seems to be broken. These are some
samples of URLs that arrive at the Squids to be purged:

http://it.wikipedia.orghttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/it/6/66/Processo_di_refertazione.png
http://en.wikipedia.orghttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/65/Bugsthdj.jpg

etc. Apparently the contain the wiki's URL as a prefix, breaking the purge.
Thumbs themselves are fine:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/es/thumb/9/9f/Miniesbozo.png/40px-Miniesbozo.png

This suggests that the bug is somewhere in the Mediawiki code that gathers the
list of URLs to purge, not in HTCP.
