Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description David Latapie 2006-05-22 18:03:57 UTC
Feature request: to be able to set the duration of the cookie. Icing on the cake, that would be done with preferences. I'm fed up of
writing something then realise I'm not logged in anymore. Being on several project and languages, it happens to me quite often twice
just this week).

That's not a cookie duration, it's how long the session data
stays before getting dropped out, possibly by a buggy session
data store.

That's not really customizable, it's a limitation of how the
system's set up at the moment. We do hope to improve the
consistency of it in the future, though...
