Feature request: to be able to set the duration of the cookie. Icing on the cake, that would be done with preferences. I'm fed up of 
writing something then realise I'm not logged in anymore. Being on several project and languages, it happens to me quite often twice 
just this week).

That's not a cookie duration, it's how long the session data 
stays before getting dropped out, possibly by a buggy session 
data store.

That's not really customizable, it's a limitation of how the 
system's set up at the moment. We do hope to improve the 
consistency of it in the future, though...
