Description Sundar 2006-05-17 11:46:15 UTC
Currently other language wikipedias are clustered into 1000+, 10000+ and so on.
It involves manual involvment to update this list particularly in other language
wikipedias with a small number of users. Also, searching for a particular
language is not easy here. An alternate system could be an interface similar to
a [[tag cloud]] where each language is rendered in a font whose size is
proportional to the number of articles it has.

What list, where? Context is good.

Sounds a bit useless, to be honest. The idea is to expand the small wikis, not
make their links unreadable.

The list of languages on the main page.

This feature request would not involve any changes to MediaWiki.

Sorry for the lack of context. See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Village_pump_%28technical%29#Cloud_of_other_lang_wikis
for more context and an implementation.
