Description Keith 2006-05-07 18:57:26 UTC
After installation and moving LocalSettings.php to the correct location a '500
Internal server error' is generated. The error page also mentions
'Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an
ErrorDocument to handle the request.' at the bottom of the page. The particular
Wiki is installed on a Linux 64bit server, and to my knowledge this seems to be
the problem.

Please look into your apache and/or php logfiles for more error messages.
Comment 2 Keith 2006-05-07 19:08:19 UTC
The only log I have at the moment is from my error log:
[Sun May 7 19:54:05 2006] [error] [client xx.xxx.xxx.xx] Premature end of
script headers: /home/xxxxx/public_html/wiki/index.php

I've set the raw log manager to run at the end of each day now, so by tommorow I
should have info from that log.

This is a bug tracker, not a support forum, and without knowing a lot more about
the configuration, we couldn't determine whether this was a bug or not.

I recommend that the issue be taken to the mediawiki-l mailing list. A bug can
be opened afterwards if it is determined one exists, but right now, we've no
indication to suggest there's something wrong with MediaWiki so much as the setup.

whole wikimedia cluster runs mainly on 64bit machines, it is surely not a problem.
