Description Rotem Liss 2006-05-06 08:36:37 UTC
Currently, in [[Special:Listusers]], all the group names (when shown beside the
user names) link to the page about the sysops/administrators. I suggest to add
an appropriate page for each user group, and if there is no such message, don't
link it.

I will try to create a patch.

Patch (trunk)

This patch links every group to its documentation page, instead of all the
groups to the page in the message "administrators". It also adds a dir mark
(LRM/RLM) between the groups.
Comment 2 Rotem Liss 2006-05-06 09:59:06 UTC
I've already checked the patch on my computer (latest trunk), of course, but
another check won't harm.
Comment 3 Rob Church 2006-05-06 15:23:35 UTC
1. I would expect getGroupPage() to return a title. It doesn't.
2. Stewards are not a concept that every wiki running MediaWiki has.

If you mean a Title object, I'm not sure I know how to use it. You are welcome
to fix it in the patch.

> 2. Stewards are not a concept that every wiki running MediaWiki has.
I know, and their system messages should indeed be moved to the extension
Makesysop (I plan to do that) along with all the system messages of the page
Makesysop itself. However, Maksysop is not yet translated, and I plan to create
translations for this extension before moving all the messages to the extension
page.

Fixed in SVN trunk, r14110.
