When you click these, it is supposed to show 10 additional lines in the appropriate direction.  Recently, it has done nothing except create an empty tr.

The same applies to the "common lines" one (where you click the number of hidden lines),.

Old, semi-known bug (could dig up some old bug #'s but I'm on my phone). This has been fixed a couple of times before.

Can you provide an example? I know for instance it tends to not work on very large files.

Sure, https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/97675/5/wmf-config/InitialiseSettings.php works in both Chromium and Firefox/Iceweasel.

Yep, that's a big file and I don't think the expand context has worked there in some time :\

Is this tracked upstream?  I tried some searching there, but couldn't find it.
