Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Daniel Kinzler 2006-05-01 19:01:12 UTC
The image blocklist at MediaWiki:Bad_image_list does not support the canonical
namespace alias, i.e. Image, but expects the local namespace name to be used
(i.e. Bild on a german wiki, etc).

Generally, it's an inconsistency that should be fixed. Specifically, this is
very annoying because with a setup like Wikimedia Commons, image blacklists tend
to be copied between wikis. So it would be nice to be able to use Image everywhere.

Please have a look at [[de:MediaWiki Diskussion:Bad image list]] and
[[de:MediaWiki:Bad image list]] for a test case. (don't worry, the image is
harmless)
