At the moment, MathML formulas (those with the ugly TeX syntax in the <math>-tags) are converted to .png images new for every request. Why don't create the new images just only when a page with a MathML tag is getting edited? This would save server load (ATM the image server is nearly completely down) and would increase site speed much.

And btw, TeX is \not ugly
