Description Axel Kittenberger 2006-04-24 10:08:30 UTC
When editing a wiki page, can mediawiki please catch the "close window" event
with java-script, and ask the user with a messagebox if he really wants to loose
all his work so far?

I just lost quite some work to a wikipedia article due accidently to hitting
CTRL-W while typing - frustrating.
This could be a user setting, I would say - default: On.

This could be implemented as an user Gadget?
Comment 2 db [inactive,noenotif] 2010-12-03 20:43:59 UTC
The new skin Vector has this feature: [[mw:Extension:Vector#EditWarning]]
Comment 3 Roan Kattouw 2010-12-03 21:21:03 UTC
Marking as fixed per comment #2
