Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Adrian BER 2006-04-17 07:08:11 UTC
A nice enhancement will be to include panoramic view in Wikipedia. For this will be enough to
include a panoramic image already uploaded and an applet for the view. A good example of such an
applet is PTViewer and it can be found at http://www.fsoft.it/panorama/ptviewer.htm.

Bug 20132 provides an example of a high-res scanned map:

Note that similar pan/zoom tech is going into the OpenStreetMap map integration; it may make sense to share some infrastructure?
