Hello, search is not responding. MySQL error: Database error A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was: (SQL query hidden) from within function "SearchMySQL::searchInternal". Database returned error "145: Table './acawiki/searchindex' is marked as crashed and should be repaired (localhost)".
I couldn't reproduce this by searching: https://ca.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Especial%3ACerca&profile=default&search=asdf+&fulltext=Search&searchengineselect=mediawiki We aren't _supposed_ to be using SearchMySQL at all so if somehow we end up using it I'm not surprised it failed. I'll have a look at the logs.
I wasn't able to dig this out of the logs either but my log digging skills aren't thee best. Johnny, could you add the url you for which you got this message?
(In reply to comment #0) > Hello, search is not responding. MySQL error: This needs better steps to reproduce, like the wiki that you are on... For future reference: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug
Johnny: Please provide steps to reproduce (and a testcase, if this is about a public wikisite).
Unfortunately closing this report as no further information has been provided. Johnny: Please feel free to reopen this report if you can provide the information asked for and if this still happens. Thanks!
