If an error occured during inital setup and the setup formular 
is showed again, it forgets the language selection.

Unable to reproduce this on a 1.5.8 install.

Steps taken:

1. Start installer
2. Choose a non-English language
3. Complete most information, but leave something critical out
4. Click Install

I'm returned to the installer with the error, and the language selection is
preserved.

Maybe the reason was, that I choosed a wikiname with dots 
in the name. eg "Foobar.info" instead of "FoobarInfo". 
  
btw: Browser was Konqueror.
