Compare http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Image:En-us-omnipotence.ogg and http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Image:en-us-omnipotence.ogg Those are two different pages on Wiktionary that show the image description page for a single image on the Commons, http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:En-us-omnipotence.ogg The problem is that the first page lists a link to the file, and the second doesn't. Since the Commons is a case-insensitive wiki, both pages on Wiktionary should show the same links.
Halló! I see neither a benefit distinguishing on the first character (lower case / uper case) in the image namespace nor in the associated talk page. See [[wikt:Image_talk:En-us-omnipotence.ogg]] and [[wikt:Image_talk:en-us-omnipotence.ogg]] which are different pages. best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
