Description Christian 'Jason' Peper 2006-03-16 09:29:36 UTC
I have a page "Benutzer Diskussion:Trublu/li'l helper" which cannot be protected. Although http://www.c-peper.de/
index.php/Spezial:Log/protect says it is protected
Comment 1 Christian 'Jason' Peper 2006-03-16 09:38:55 UTC
just happened to a page name "Diskussion:Wiki (Chaotika 2005)" in an other wiki of mine.
Comment 2 Brion Vibber 2006-03-16 18:12:44 UTC
Let me guess: you protected it against moves only, not against edits?

Can you confirm?
Comment 3 Christian 'Jason' Peper 2006-03-16 20:45:43 UTC
nope, assumed that myself and checked twice, but will check again
Comment 4 Christian 'Jason' Peper 2006-03-16 20:49:26 UTC
well, I could swear that I did it correct (protect a few others pages as well, with success), than did
again and again (without success) but now both pages seam to be protected.
Comment 5 Christian 'Jason' Peper 2006-03-16 20:58:16 UTC
dammit, i should do better, quite embarassing....yeah, seems to be this easily solved
Comment 6 Christian 'Jason' Peper 2006-03-16 21:44:41 UTC
found some sort of explanation: I deleted the spam by emptying the page, protected it, deleted all
revisions and restored the last revision. Thus leaving the page unprotected (probably page-protections are
deleted when the page is deleted.
