Description Phil Dame 2006-03-08 21:52:45 UTC
Upon deleting a page (after pressing "Confirm") this message appears and the
page is not deleted:

"A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the
software. The last attempted database query was:

(SQL query hidden)

from within function "Article::doDeleteArticle". MySQL returned error "1364:
Field 'ar_text' doesn't have a default value (localhost:3306)"."

Using MySQL 5 (no changes since initial installation). Page deleting has not
worked since it was installed.

Hello,

I am having exactly the same problem. What exactly is the solution?

I am using:

  *  MediaWiki: 1.6.1
  * PHP: 5.1.4 (apache2handler)
  * MySQL: 5.0.21-community-nt
  * Extensions:
        o Parser hooks:
              + Inputbox by Erik Moeller
        o Extension functions:
              + registerInputboxExtension
          o Parser extension tags:
               + <inputbox>
