Current user contribution page only shows detailed log for users' contributions sorted by time. It would be better to provide more flexible and summarized views for users to see what he/she did for a day, for a week, for a month, for a topic, etc. And I don't know why people cannot view others' contributions in mediaWiki. In a research group, the supervisors should have the right to view group member's contributions to know what a person did during a period. The same goal may be achieved by add and enhance the search function in Recent changes page.
What do you mean by "cannot view others' contributions"? Surely that's what the user contributions page is for?
I mean I don't know how to see other users' contributions. I only know how to access "My contributions" now. (In reply to comment #1) > What do you mean by "cannot view others' contributions"? Surely that's what the > user contributions page is for?

Well, I found a hacker's way to do this just now: change the user id at the end of the URL: index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=userid Is there any other more natual way to do this? This is MediaZilla, not Wikimedia Customer Support. Please read the User's Guide http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_User's_Guide or ask on IRC. This item is now about allowing users to search through contributions by time period or category.
Restored from flood attack.
