I have a broken vector actions menu. It's now to the right of my search bar. (Safari 6)

I don't see the problem on test2, which is also on wmf9, so might be something configuration related ?

That's [[mw:MediaWiki:Gadget-externalsearch-bar.js]], works for me on Firefox. Do you see the same problem on Wikidata?

The actions menu isn't broken. On some pages is does not appear by default because you're not allowed to move those pages etc. However, the external search gadget appears on every page. There wouldn't be an action bar even without the gadget.
