Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Rémi Kaupp 2006-02-18 21:33:44 UTC
Special:Search is not up to date and fails to find articles created even two
months ago (even by searching their exact title) on fr.wikipedia, for instance
page "Baleinier".

Either updateSearchIndex.php should be run more often, or there is a problem
with the search engine.
Comment 1 Brion Vibber 2006-02-18 21:46:26 UTC
Not a bug; Wikimedia's search indexes haven't been updated yet.
Comment 2 Rémi Kaupp 2006-02-18 22:14:18 UTC
OK, but can I ask why they haven't and when this can be expected ?
Comment 3 Brion Vibber 2006-02-18 22:40:14 UTC
Because there's lot of stuff to do and it hadn't been gotten to yet. It's been
started, should complete in a day or two.

Thank you Brion :-)
