On the page for "Fission Chicken" at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fission_Chicken , the illustration for the cover does not appear, though when clicking on the area for the image and going its own page, the image can be downloaded from there.
Shows up for me.
Hi John! What browser are you using? Can you see other images? Please verify all relevant browser options. Was this an one time issue or is the problem still there? Shows up for me also in Firefox/1.6a1 latest nightly trunk und in IE 7.0.5296.0 Beta 2 . best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]

Have AdBlock plugin running, but this never interferes with normal pics. The pic still does not appear, but does download from its own page. >Shows up for me also in Firefox/1.6a1 latest nightly trunk und in IE 7.0.5296.0 >Beta 2 . May be just my PC -- have to try another. Thanks. >best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
On the offchance it was a one-off...clear your cache and try again.
Waitaminuie -- NOW NO IMAGES SHOW UP ON MY WIKIPEDIA PAGES. I don't understan -- last week they showed up with no problem.
Rob Church: No, clearing cache did not help...
By any chance did you recently change Firefox's preferences by checking "Load images for the originating web site only"? Since all our images are hosted on a separate server, this would cause them all to fail.
Or perhaps you accidentally blocked all images from upload.wikimedia.org by right-clicking and selecting "Block images from this server" at some point? Check the 'exceptions' list next to 'Load images' in prefs.

Check the 'exceptions' list next to 'Load images' in prefs. THAT'S IT! Brion Vibber, that did the trick. Now everything's okay. (Now the mystery I'd like to clear up is: how'd I ever screw up like that?) Thanks very much.
