Description Jon Harder 2006-02-15 00:32:00 UTC
The article "Foundry (computing)" should not appear in the category. The article was changed to a redirect but the
category (Software) was not updated as the entry is still present.
Comment 1 lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2006-02-15 00:42:35 UTC
Hi Jon!

Please see
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Foundry_%28computing%29&action=history

After adding and removing the redirect to [[Category:Software]] the membership
and the sort key was added and deleted.

Marked as FIXED. This bug is probably not INVALID because it is a "just to know"
the workarounds.

You categorise a page, it shows up. You categorise a redirect, it shows up.

Hi Rob! I can confirm the fact that the page showed up in the wrong category
before I made the changes. I assume that this happened during "recovery" of the
servers. However after I fixed this *particular* page I was wondering if more
*other* pages where affected by this problem or not. If this is the case the
pages will and their category membership will get updated sooner or later. If
"wrong category membership" will be detected for other pages the workaround
mentioned in comment 1 will help.
