Sorry for this: At the url from above ([]) and ( [] ) renders to http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/als:(M%C3%BClhausen_(Elsass))?action=history Marking 'bloks': Bug 2718: expand localurl to include InterWiki prefixes and to support the parameter part best regards reinhardt user:gangleri
Hmm, didn't you actually mean "[]"? Without the "(" and ")" before and after the article title?
(In reply to comment #1) Please look at the url. There are examples *without* "(" and ")" which work correctly. I was puzzeled why "(" and ")" gets included into the url. This is the subject of this bug.
Looks like you got exactly what you asked for.
(In reply to comment #3) > Looks like you got exactly what you asked for. Sorry Brion I do not understand the comment. I made also wikt:de:user_talk:Gangleri#tests_localurl_foo. My inderstanding of wiki syntax is that urls / external links are generated depending on what is *inside* "[" and "]" and *not* what is outside of "[" and "]". wikt:de:user_talk:Gangleri#tests_localurl is about external links that genereate [n] links and wikt:de:user_talk:Gangleri#tests_localurl_foo about external links that genereate [foo].
That's right, it's what you put inside the [ and ].
Sorry Melancholie and Brion! I got the point. Probably was to tiered when opening this INVALID report.
