Why a same MW in IE & Chrome ( may be include other Browsers) have different results? And these "differences" would materially affect user experience.
Could you elaborate what the "JS issue" is, and is there any output in a JavaScript error console (if IE has that)? Is it just shown "badly", or is functionality affected?
Thank for your reply. I am not an IT technician, for me, if the JS failed to run on the IE, it is a functional defect, e.g. * batch replacement failed to displayed in the edit box , * Search Options box can not be displayed in the Advanced Search Page(check "All/None", * abnormal display results ( such as screenshots ), and so on. In short, I guess that MW does not support the latest IE10, because my MW was able to normal use on the the old version of IE or its compatibility view. Thanks again.

Your own MediaWiki installation? If the latter, which MediaWiki version? Also see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug > * abnormal display results ( such as screenshots ), and so on. Please describe in words what exactly is "abnormal" for your JS screenshot.

(In reply to comment #13) > Steven Zhong: Could you answer comment 11, please? Thank you for your reply, I created a test account and mail to you, it may reproduce the Preferences issue. Because the reference tips which you mentioned above were difficult for me. Thanks again.
Created attachment 13334 [details] IE10 in emulator IE10 on Windows 8 in an emulator, 1024x768px. Cannot reproduce, see screenshot. If there are JavaScript issues, please check the output of the Error Console.
My IE on Win8,64bit,1920*1080, switch IE compatibility view, the problem still exists.
Would love to see a second person who has Windows 8 and IE 10 if this can be reproduced (because I cannot), and if this is still a problem.
