Notifications should provide an option to disable the popup list of notifs and just head straight to Special:Notifications. This would be more in line with the current workflow of the Watchlist and user talk page, as well as the way LiquidThreads behaves. It'd also make Wikipedia "less like Facebook", which I'm sure would please various wikidinosaurs and naysayers. (I know this is possible with one line of JS. I'm seriously proposing it anyway.)
Currently the HTML looks like this: <li id="pt-notifications"><a href="/wiki/Especial:Notifications" class="mw-echo-notifications-badge" title="Your notifications">0</a></li> So, it should allow, at least, the user to use CTRL+click (and middle click) on this [0] link and go to [[Special:Notifications]] in that case.
