Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Netoholic 2006-01-25 21:56:05 UTC
On Simple:Wikipedia, please enable semi-protection and the
logged-out-user new page creation restriction.

Simple: is currently understaffed on administrators, but we have
been getting a lot of activity lately. I've added a semi-
protection section to our [[simple:Wikipedia:Protection policy]].

The logged-out restriction would help us greatly. We have a lot
of red links, and few quality articles... this creates a
situation where we get a lot of user tests and vandal-ish
comments being left. Many of these not-yet pages have been
created and deleted several times.

Please file a separate bug report for the creation restriction, as it's a
separate issue.

Note You need to log in before you can comment on or make changes to this bug.
