Some diffs from [[Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)]], each accessed by clicking (last) in the history: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Village_pump_%28technical%29&diff=35024921&oldid=35024355 This one was the latest edit at the time I clicked, and no link to a section was added. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Village_pump_%28technical%29&diff=35024355&oldid=35023565#Week_number_changed http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Village_pump_%28technical%29&diff=35008810&oldid=35002671#Something_strange_with_CSS_styles In these two edits, a section was added and the anchor pointed to that section. All well and good. However. . . http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Village_pump_%28technical%29&diff=35023565&oldid=35008810#Week_number_changed http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Village_pump_%28technical%29&diff=35002671&oldid=35002292#Something_strange_with_CSS_styles Here a section was edited, and the anchor pointed to a section which did not yet exist. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Village_pump_%28technical%29&diff=35002292&oldid=34987190#Deleting_an_account Here a section was edited, but the automatically-provided anchor pointed to the wrong section. Disabling the "Enable "jump to" accessibility links" option in [[Special:Preferences]] turns off the automatic anchors. I'm using Monobook in Firefox 1.0.4 on Windows XP.
What's a "jump to" diff link?
links to a specific section within the old version that you get when you click (last) in the history. The option "Enable "jump to" accessibility links" in [[Special:Preferences]] turns them on and off.
Resolving this one INVALID; still can't figure out what it's referring to. The "jump to" accessibility links look like this: Jump to: navigation, search ^^ and are hidden by the default style sheet; they're meant to be used for text browsers and screen readers. They're not based on specific wiki page sections, and shouldn't be affected in any way by diffs. As for section links on the edit comments displayed in diff headers, I haven't been able to find anything terribly amiss on the diffs linked in the original report.
