Description Tim Bartel 2006-01-12 11:32:26 UTC
With Firefox, Linux the search buttons in the german wikipedia are misplaced
(see screenshot).
They should be side by side, not one below the other. Seems to be no problem
with Firefox 1.0.7, Windows XP.

First noticed on 09.01.2006 with Firefox 1.0.7, Kubuntu Breezy Badger, KDE.
If I'm not totally wrong it was correct at 11.01.2006 (don't know exactly).
The screenshot is from 12.01.2006, 12:00 GMT+2 with the named configuration.

Same problem on another computer with Firefox Deer Park, Gentoo, KDE.

Confirmed on Ubuntu Breezy Badger, running over X11 on a Mac OS X display.

This is probably because Ubuntu is defaulting to a relatively wide font
for the generic sans serif (Bitstream Vera Sans, if I'm not mistaken).
The buttons end up just slightly too wide to fit in the space with the
German text.

Looks fine on Ubuntu Gutsy today.
