Hallo! [[meta:Special:SiteMatrix]] renders a) *board* to http://board.wikipedia.org/ this should direct to http://board.wikimedia.org/ b) *dk* to http://dk.wikipedia.org/ this should direct to http://da.wikipedia.org/ *note* *nb* is not in this list c) *foundation* to http://foundation.wikipedia.org/ this should direct to ??? d) *grants* to http://grants.wikipedia.org/ this should direct to http://grants.wikimedia.org/ e) *internal* to http://internal.wikipedia.org/ this should direct to http://internal.wikimedia.org/ f) *mediawiki* to http://mediawiki.wikipedia.org/ this should direct to ??? http://mediawiki.org/ g) *wikimania* to http://wikimania.wikipedia.org/ this should direct to http://wikimania.wikimedia.org/ best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
(In reply to comment #0) > c) *foundation* to http://foundation.wikipedia.org/ > this should direct to ??? http://www.wikimediafoundation.org > e) *internal* to http://internal.wikipedia.org/ > this should direct to http://internal.wikimedia.org/ Should it? I was under the impression that wiki was a private Board one. It probably shouldn't appear on that page at all. > f) *mediawiki* to http://mediawiki.wikipedia.org/ > this should direct to ??? http://mediawiki.org/ http://www.mediawiki.org
IMO they could also do with moving to the top of the page (above the language-specific projects), putting into a table and having some descriptions for those that aren't self-explantory.
Shouldn't this be in the Wikimedia product?
(In reply to comment #3) > Shouldn't this be in the Wikimedia product? Maybe. If you change the product please do so also at a) Bug 3671: add a column with names from Names.php to [[Special:SiteMatrix]] b) Bug 4164: Some sites dropped from Special:SiteMatrix table to bottom list ---- Should all local chapters [[wikimedia:Local chapters]] http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Local_chapters be listed in [[Special:SiteMatrix]]? http://pl.wikimedia.org/ http://wikimedia.de/, http://wikimedia.fr/, http://wikimedia.it/ etc. (?) ? What about "www" subdomains: http://www.wikisource.org/, http://wikisource.org/, etc.(?) ? And others to come: http://ch.wikimedia.org/, http://scg.vikimedija.org/, etc.(?) ? best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
wikiMedia.org is now the default domain and I added a list of execptions. That should do it for most stuff.
