Parser::mTagHooks is a private datastructure that should never be accessed
directly, anyway, I've made an accessor in the Parser to get a list of defiened
extension tags and added the functionality to Special:Version

FIXED in CVS HEAD

Hallo!

Thanks for this feature! It brings more transparency about the configuration of
a wiki to contributors and visitors.

I reopened the bug because of
Bug 2019: [[Special:Version]] should be wrapped with <div dir="ltr"> ... </div>

Please take a look at [[meta:special:Version]] and at a RTL wiki (for example
[[wiktionary:yi:special:Version]]).

*request / correction*
The list of extension tags should be displayed LTR same as the text above that list.

*note*
The identation at some of the RTL wiki's might not show properly. This is
Bug 2020: BiDi related issues to ";", ":", "#", and "*", monobook skin etc.

It should be possible to fix this in the MediaWiki:Monobook.css message pages.

Comment 4 lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2006-01-09 10:48:23 UTC
*addendum*
The word *and* is (and possibly other words might be) localized.

*and*
<timeline>, <hiero>, <charinsert>, <ref>, <references>, <inputbox> *and*
<fundraising>

*און* in
* AddNewAccount:wfNewuserlogHook און mwBlockerCheck

This is probably the only word. See *und* at [[de:special:Version]].

As long as [[special:Version]] is in English in all languages it might be better
not to localize other parts of the page.

Resolving af FIXED, again, the things you state that are wrong with the RTL
rendering and the appearance of "and" do indeed need to be fixed, but they have
nothing whatsoever to do with this bug and weren't caused by the fix applied to
resolve it. In fact they have nothing in common other than both applying to the
same file.
Comment 6 lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2006-01-09 14:18:41 UTC
Thanks Ævar for the fix! It (as for example [[he:special:Version]]) looks great now.

The issues related to bug 2020 (see [[wiktionary:ps:special:Version]]) will be
fixed as soon as we have sysops for all RTL projects (
[[wiktionary:yi:user:Gangleri/tests/bugzilla#RTL_and_BiDi_issues]]) .

Best regards reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
