The (previous 48) and (next 48) links on the special:newimages/username are not working properly. On a gallery with less than 48 images both should be disabled, but only next is. Clicking previous shows the most recent image only. See [[special:newimages/Thryduulf]] on en.wikipedia for an example. On a gallery with more than 48 images: On page 1 the next link should be disabled and the previous link should take you to images uploaded earlier than the most recent 48 On middle pages the next link should take you to the set of 48 uploaded more recently than the current set and the previous link should take you to the set of 48 uploaded earlier. On the last page, the previous link should be disabled and the next link should take you to the set of 48 images uploaded after those being viewed. The current behaviour is the oposite: clicking a (previous) link takes you to images uploaded more recently and a (next) link shows images uploaded less recently. On page 1 clicking the (previous) link shows the most recent image only.
Special:newimages/Thryduulf on commons is an example of a gallery with more than 48 images.
Earliest and Latest (or First and Last) links would also be very useful (I don't know whether this needs to be a separate bug or not)
(In reply to comment #2) now bug 4466 covers this specific request (earliest/latest)
Invalid, as this was removed. It belongs on a different special page, with a specific index, if restored.
