Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Jaeneva 2006-01-03 03:50:18 UTC
I have a site where I need my categories to sort by Year (1999, 2003, 2004,
2005, etc). The way it is now, they come under a heading of '1' or '2' which
just looks ugly. [[http://www.ucip.org/beta/index.php/Category:Timeline]] Any
chance of a change in a future release? To clarify, this is about the Headings,
not the sort order. The order they sort in is fine. It's just having the 2
headings which is ugly as sin. -- [[User:Jaeneva|Jaeneva]] 11 December 2005

Thanks... not *exactly* the same thing, but close enough (-:

I'm thinking [[mw:Extension:CategorySortHeaders]] solves this bug request. Marking fix. Please re-open if it doesn't suit your needs. (although to be honest, 5 years later you probably don't even have this issue anymore ;)
